The IDEA: Develop a national system to develop, update, promote, and sustain a series of basic,
intermediate, and advanced evidence-based child and family development simulation-encounter training programs - modeled after
the American Hearth Association's successful CPR courses - which would provide children and youth (future parents) with
the fundamental self-regulation, relationship and parenting skills that are essential to nurturing healthy children and families.
